AIIA was privileged to welcome Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu, Praful Khoda Patel, to our esteemed institute on 28.2.2025

AIIA was privileged to host Dr. Tieraona Low Dog, MD, ABOIM; Mr. James Sebastian Carnazzo (USA); Mr. Marijn Leendert (Netherlands); Miss Sarah Pursey (UK), and Mr. Kartikeya Baldwa (India). AIIA Director (I/C) Prof. (Dr.) Sujata Kadam welcomed them and facilitated a tour of the institute’s facilities.

AIIA celebrated the 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm. AIIA Director (I/C), Prof. (Dr.) Sujata Kadam, unfurled the national flag. The event was graced by Dean Ph.D Prof. (Dr.) Mahesh Vyas; Dean PG Prof. (Dr.) Yogesh Badwe; MS Prof. (Dr.) Anandaraman Sharma, scholars and other senior faculty members of AIIA.

A group of 15 international students, accompanied by Dr. Jose Rugue, President of Yoga Brahma Vidhyalaya, Brazil, underwent a five-day customized training program at the All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), New Delhi from 6th January to 10th January 2025.

Prof. (Dr.) Sujata Kadam, Prof., SRPT Dept. at AIIA Delhi has officially assumed the Charge of Director (I/C) AIIA on 1.11.2024.

AIIA celebrated 9th Ayurveda day. The event was graced by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji. Shri J.P. Nadda, Union Minister for Health and Family Welfare & Chemicals & Fertilizers; Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, Union Minister of Labour and Employment & Youth Affairs and Sports; Shri Prataprao Jadhav, Union MoS (I/C) of Ayush and MoS, Health & Family Welfare; Smt. Anupriya Patel Union MoS Health & Family Welfare & Chemical & Fertilizers; Sushri Shobha Karandlaje Union MoS of Labour & Employment and Micro, Small Medium Enterprise; Shri Ramvir Singh Bidhuri, MP, Lok Sabha; Vd. Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary Ayush; Dr. Manoj Nesari (Advisor, Ayush); Prof. (Dr.) Tanuja Nesari, Director AIIA and other dignitaries were present on the occasion.

On the occasion of Dhanvantari Jayanti and the 9th Ayurveda Day, Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated Phase-II of All India Institute of Ayurveda, New Delhi.

All India Institute of Ayurveda, New Delhi organised its first-ever international conference – AROHA-2024 from 17th to 19th October 2024. The inauguration was done by Dr. Justice Dhananjaya Yeshwant Chandrachud, Hon’ble Chief Justice of India. The event was graced by Shri Prataprao Jadhav, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for the Ministry of Ayush and Health & Family Welfare; Vd. Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary, Ministry of Ayush; Dr. Shyama Kuruvilla, Director (ad interim) of the WHO Global Traditional Medicine Centre, Jamnagar, Gujarat; Lt. Gen. Madhuri Kanitkar, Vice Chancellor, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS); Padma Bhushan Prof. Shiv Kumar Sarin, Director, ILBS and Prof. (Dr) Tanuja Nesari, Director AIIA.

AIIA under the Ministry of Ayush Celebrated its 8th Foundation Day. The event was graced by Hon’ble President of India Smt. Droupadi Murmu; Shri Vinay Kumar Saxena, Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Delhi; Shri Prataprao Jadhav, Union Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ayush; Secretary Ayush Vd Rajesh Kotecha; AIIA Director Prof.(Dr) Tanuja Nesari; senior officials of Ayush Ministry and other senior faculty members of AIIA.

Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Ministry of Ayush & MoS for Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Shri Prataprao Jadhav, visited AIIA. He was warmly welcomed by Director Prof. (Dr.) Tanuja Nesari, who escorted him on a comprehensive tour of the facilities.
