Hon’ble Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, WHO Director-General; Hon’ble Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya, MH&FW, India; Hon’ble Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, MoA; Hon’ble Dr. Mahendra Munjpara, Minister of State for Ayush & others visited the Ayush pavilion at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar at the WHO Global Summit.

Union Minister of Ayush Shri Sarbananda Sonowal & Union Minister of Health and Family Welfare, Dr Mansukh Mandaviya jointly inaugurated the Integrative Medicine Centre at Safdarjung Hospital on 07.02.2023. Minister of State for Health, Dr Bharati Pravin Pawar & Minister of State for Ayush, Dr Munjapara Mahendra Bhai Kalubhai, Secretary Ministry of Ayush Vd. Rajesh Kotecha & others were also present.

In a bid to promote Ayurveda across continents, AIIA has signed an MoU with the University of Medical Sciences of Havana (UCMH), The Republic of Cuba.

A memorandum of understanding was signed between the AIIA, Ministry of Ayush of the Government of the Republic of India and The Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Brazil and The Brazilian Academic Consortium for Integrative Health (CABSIN), Brazil on the establishment of an academic collaboration in Ayurveda.

All India Institute of Ayurveda hosted WHO Director General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus at the institute. The event was graced by Hon’ble Minister of Health & Family Welfare & Minister of Chemicals & Fertilizers Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya.
