In a bid to promote Ayurveda across continents, AIIA has signed an MoU with the University of Medical Sciences of Havana (UCMH), The Republic of Cuba.
A memorandum of understanding was signed between the AIIA, Ministry of Ayush of the Government of the Republic of India and The Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), Brazil and The Brazilian Academic Consortium for Integrative Health (CABSIN), Brazil on the establishment of an academic collaboration in Ayurveda.
All India Institute of Ayurveda hosted WHO Director General Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus at the institute. The event was graced by Hon’ble Minister of Health & Family Welfare & Minister of Chemicals & Fertilizers Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya.
AIIA welcomed delegation from WHO GCTM, led by Dr. Shyama Kuruvilla, Senior Strategic Adviser, Universal Health Coverage and Life Course, WHO.
Hon’ble Union Minister of Ayush Sarbananda Sonowal visited All India Institute of Ayurveda. Smt. Jai Devi Kaushal, MLA from Malihabad, UP, was also present at the occasion.
A Taiwanese delegation, led by Yi-Tsau Huang,Director-General, Department of Chinese Medicine & Pharmacy, Ministry of Health & Welfare, visited AIIA to explore opportunities for the collaboration with a view to take Ayurvedic wisdom to Taiwan.
Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Hon’ble Union Minister of Ayush, inaugurated the Vaccination Centre for children at AIIA
PM Narendra Modi dedicated the satellite centre of AIIA to the Nation.
A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Ministry of Ayush and the Union Tribal Ministry to explore areas of collaboration, convergence, and synergy for tribal development while preserving tribal cultural heritage through evidence-based planning and capacity building on Ayurveda Day.
AIIA under the aegis of Ministry of Ayush, formally launched the #AyurvedaDay 2022 programme at a hybrid event. The 6-week long programme, which will run from 12th Sep-23rd Oct, will encompass a series of events under the theme ‘Har Din Har Ghar Ayurveda’.
